With the Air Jordan XXXVI, Jordan Brand decided to shed materials — taking the learnings from doing just that in the Air Jordan XXXIV and XXXV — and see how far they could go.“Light”was the muse. That muse unified teams of design specialists across the brand as they perfected the many definitions of the word. The Air Jordan XXXVI’s new features — a jacquard leno-weave upper, a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit that’s double-stacked with a forefoot unit, a refined plate system — come from experts at Jordan Brand combining their specialties to make the best basketball shoe in the world. “We want those who love the brand to see something that’s always been a part of our design legacy: the power of teamwork that goes on between a core group of folks to create product excellence,” says Martin Lotti, VP, Jordan Brand Design. “Jordan Brand is inspired by one man, but it’s carried into the future by many, many people who are experts in their field.” By exploring three aspects of light, the Air Jordan XXXVI highlights the kind of collaborative work across Jordan Brand teams that leads the way for the next generation of players. The Air Jordan XXXVI collection releases August 17 onwards on NIKE.COM and at selected Jordan stores.

Tissot is reissuing an emblematic design from the late 1970s, with an integrated case and bracelet. The new PRX series is distinctive for its slenderness, the strength of its design and its timeless style. Travel back in time with the PRX series to one of the most iconic era of Tissot watch-making history. To celebrate the launch, Tissot Boutique at Harbour City has undergone a retro makeover to create a unique nostalgic experience for every customer. One of the most popular arcade games in the 70s, “Space Invaders”, will be available at Tissot Harbour City Boutique, lose yourself in the 70’s vibe ! The whole setting allows customers to reminisce the glorious period in a futuristic fashion and commence on a Tissot watch journey featuring the latest PRX series. “Innovator by tradition”, Tissot has always had a flair for designs that reflect their era. In the late 60s, Tissot eagerly embraced the exciting new freedom in watch shapes and launched oversize, colourful, psychedelic, pop-art watches that broke with the conformism of previous years. In the same spirit, the late 1970s saw the appearance of a series of Tissot watches that incorporated an integrated bracelet and the recently-introduced quartz movement. In 1978, Tissot was thus creating a quartz model characterised by a slender case, narrow hour markers and a steel bracelet. Its wide horizontal link, typical of the era’s designs, was fully integrated with the flat, barrel-shaped case. A few years later, Tissot registered the PRX name. “PR” stands for Precise and Robust, while “X”, in Roman numerals, stands for the 10 atmospheres of depth to which the watch remains water-resistant, or a total of 100 metres. To put the new PRX series under spotlight, Tissot launches different online and offline campaigns so that every watch lover can experience the classical appeal of the new watch. The#MY1978TISSOTMOMEN Best Vintage Style Award is now inviting submissions on Tissot’s social platform. Participants can upload photos dressed in 70s or 80s style and tag @Tissot Facebook page and #MY1978TISSOTMOMENT. Tissot and watch collector Jason Chan will select the best themed photos with the most likes. Winners will be awarded with a brand new PRX 40 205 watch. At the same time, Tissot Harbour City Boutique is also launching the “TISSOT ARCARD GAME CHALLENGE”. Participants will get 2 minitues game time upon liking Tissot Facebook Page @Tissot. In 1987, accompanied by the journalist and writer from the magazine ELLE, Philippe Trétiack, Agnès b. went to Moscow for 5 days and found herself cast into the unknown: silent crowds, immense spaces… far away from the Western landmarks she was familiar with. Agnès b. was on a mission to discover new fashion trends, new styles and new tastes, those of a world that was totally foreign and people whose daily lives were difficult. She observed and took notes everywhere she went, of people dressed in clothes without « style » and in gloomy colours. She met great couturiers whose traditions were far removed from her own. But above all, she took pictures: children clutching their parents, merchants with incredible costumes… And of many details that surprised her and gave her great pleasure in discovering. The photos are composed of monochrome and colour. This exhibition was shown at the agnès b. Marseille store and the Arles International Photo Festival in France, followed by Tokyo in January this year, and now debuts in Hong Kong for 2 months. DONATION TO THE HONG KONG YOUTH ARTS FOUNDATION Selected photographs, label with the autograph of Agnès b., will be available for sale.
